Driver

Job Type: Full Time

Qualification: Matric

Experience: 2 years

Location: Western Cape, Cape Town

Job Field: Driving & Logistics

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure vehicles are clean and in good working condition at the start of each day
• Monitor vehicle mileage and report when servicing is required
• Detect and report any vehicle repairs needed

Reporting:

• Report any vehicle damage to the Supervisor

Coordinating:

• Ensure vehicle availability matches demand
• Calculate distances and time for pick-up and drop-off requests
• Maintain a spare vehicle for breakdowns

Additional Duties:

• Transport samples from the Micron lab to clients
• Transport Research and Development staff for trials
• Deliver marketing materials for exhibitions
• Transport trainees to sites
• Deliver engineering spares to relevant locations
• Transport I&J visitors across the Cape Peninsula

Requirements for Success:

• Minimum 2+ years driving experience in a similar role
• Matric qualification
• Code 8 or 10 driver’s license with PDP
• Availability for weekend work if needed
