Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring safe and efficient transportation of equipment and materials while adhering to safety, health, and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Adhere to all safety, health, and environmental practices and requirements.
• Escalate unsafe practices or risks to your supervisor/manager.
• Support good housekeeping to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Assist in the safe loading, moving, and shifting of equipment and components.
• Ensure the correct lifting equipment and tools are used for tasks.
• Inspect all equipment for functionality and safety before use.
• Report any equipment or component deviations to your Supervisor.
• Liaise with relevant personnel to arrange resources for task execution.
• Conduct pre-shift inspections of vehicles, equipment, and machinery.
• Monitor equipment performance and escalate any issues to your Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Grade 12
• Valid SA Driver’s Licence
• Understanding of vehicle/equipment components and functionality
• Basic knowledge of manufacturing standards, drawings, and manuals
• Operational experience in Maintenance
• Good communication, time management, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in English and local languages (as required)
