Job Summary

• Operate a forklift to move goods within the work area as instructed.
• Work on a shift basis, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is advantageous.

Key Requirements

• Grade 12 or NQF Level 4 equivalent qualification.
• Relevant work experience in a related field.
• Professional registration is required.
• Fluent in business English.
• Ability to work in challenging conditions and various shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate the forklift to move pallets within the facility and to/from vehicles.
• Ensure adherence to all safety and operating procedures.
• Inspect the forklift during check-in and check-out, reporting any damage immediately.
• Deliver completed pallets to designated areas.
• Maintain a clean and orderly workspace.
• Use a scanner to receive and complete tasks efficiently.
• Print and apply identifiers to pallets as required.
• Assist with stock counts when necessary.
