Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Driver to support our operations. You will ensure safe, efficient, and timely logistical and support activities. This role helps keep our operations running smoothly. It requires a reliable person with the right experience and dedication.
Minimum Requirements
- Valid Code 8 driver’s licence
- At least 1 year of driving experience
- Proven experience as a Driver, including light motor vehicles and tractors
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Basic mechanical knowledge is an advantage
- Ability to operate a TLB is beneficial
Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate tractors and company vehicles as needed
- Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on tractors and vehicles
- Follow schedules and meet deadlines
- Adhere to all bio-security procedures and standards
- Follow Health and Safety policies
- Be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends
- Handle basic administrative tasks for the role
- Take full responsibility for assigned company vehicles
- Complete deliveries and collections on set routes
- Transport employees safely to and from worksites
- Perform slashing and general grounds maintenance
- Keep company vehicles clean, presentable, and in good condition
- Load and offload items when required
