Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Driver Assistant to join our liquor distribution team in Sandton, Gauteng. This role involves assisting with the loading, unloading, and timely delivery of products to ensure excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Report on time to ensure delivery schedules are met.
- Conduct efficient daily handovers of deliveries from the warehouse to your vehicle.
- Ensure accurate and damage-free packing of deliveries as per schedule.
- Carry a tablet and completed paperwork for all deliveries before departing the warehouse.
- Deliver orders to customers accurately, on time, and as per the schedule.
- Interact with customers in a professional and friendly manner to encourage repeat business.
- Collect and record returned or defective wine as instructed.
- Maintain a clean and pristine condition of the vehicle daily.
- Report any accidents or incidents involving the vehicle immediately and follow company procedures.
- Dress according to company uniform standards and maintain a professional appearance.
Qualifications:
- Grade 12 diploma required.
- Valid Code 10 or Code 14 driver’s license is beneficial.
