Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with Dangerous Goods Legislation and maintain the roadworthiness of the Cylinder Fleet.
• Conduct regular fleet inspections to assess the condition and safety of vehicles.
• Oversee essential maintenance tasks, including licensing, Certificates of Fitness (COF), and fire permits.
• Maintain compliance with dangerous goods regulations, including proper placement of placard signs.
• Keep the environment clean and organized.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all servicing and maintenance activities.
• Promote safety and quality by adhering to safety protocols and quality assurance measures.
• Provide excellent customer service.

Essential Requirements:

• Grade 12 certificate.
• Valid unendorsed Code EC driver’s license with (PrDPd).
• Dangerous Goods Certificate.
• Minimum of 3 – 5 years’ experience in operating heavy-duty vehicles and transporting dangerous goods.
• Basic mechanical knowledge.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
