This role, designated as T11 and open to all categories, offers an attractive salary scale ranging from R376,152.00 to R522,420.00 per annum, with an estimated total remuneration package between R510,705.00 and R696,877.00 per annum.
Job Purpose
The successful candidate will be responsible for compiling and drafting construction drawings in accordance with civil engineering standards and specifications. This role also involves archiving, filing, and indexing new plans in cabinets and on a plan index database. The drafter will provide necessary information to the division, other departments, engineers, consultants, and the public, while maintaining and updating the Geographic Information System (GIS).
Application Requirements
Candidates interested in this position should meet the following qualifications:
- NTC III or equivalent, along with an internal learnership as defined by the department.
- A minimum of two years’ relevant drawing experience in civil engineering services and drawing office administration.
- Supervisory experience will be considered an advantage.
- Proficiency in computer literacy, specifically in ArcGIS, AutoCAD, Caddie, and Microsoft Office.
