Requirements:
- Grade 12 Certificate
- BEng/BSc Engineering Degree (Civil)
- Eligible for Pr.Eng registration with ECSA
- Valid Code C1 Driver’s License
- 5-8 years’ project management experience (3 years in Local Government)
- Proficiency in GIS data interpretation and MS Office
Core Responsibilities:
Project Leadership
- Oversee infrastructure projects from planning to completion
- Develop project budgets and procurement plans
- Monitor compliance with PMBOK standards
Strategic Planning
- Align projects with municipal IDP and national development goals
- Prepare bankable business plans for capital projects
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments
Quality Assurance
- Implement contract management systems
- Ensure compliance with CIDB, OHS, and MFMA regulations
- Manage service provider performance
Team Development
- Mentor technical staff and service providers
- Conduct skills development programs
