Position Details

Remuneration Package:
Task Grade 16: R659,924.51 – R856,607.78 per annum
+ Motor Vehicle Allowance + Cell Phone/Data Allowance

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 Certificate
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration/NQF Level 7 equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Municipal Finance Management Certificate (advantageous)

Experience Required

  • 8+ years administrative experience
  • 3+ years at supervisory level

  • Advanced computer skills (MS Office)
  • Excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Budget management proficiency
  • Knowledge of municipal governance frameworks

Primary Responsibilities

  • Oversee corporate services operations including records management
  • Develop and implement administrative policies
  • Manage departmental budgets and resources
  • Coordinate council reporting processes
  • Ensure legislative compliance
