Position Details

- Education Requirement: Bachelor’s Degree/BTech in Water Care, Civil Engineering, or Community Water & Sanitation
- Experience Needed: 5 years (including 3 years in technical role)
- Location: Gauteng

Key Responsibilities
- Manage rural water operations and infrastructure maintenance
- Oversee reliable water supply services across municipal areas
- Lead team supervision and staff development programs
- Manage departmental budgeting and financial reporting
- Ensure compliance with Water Acts and Blue Drop standards
- Coordinate interdepartmental projects and public communications
- Conduct quality control monitoring for water services
Preferred Qualifications
- Project Management certification (advantageous)
- Proven experience in technical water systems management
- Strong knowledge of municipal water regulations
