Position Purpose:
Lead strategic oversight of municipal events management operations to ensure transparent, accountable service delivery aligned with legislative requirements and organizational objectives under the Group Head: Communication, Marketing & Events.
Minimum Requirements:
- • Bachelor’s degree in Events Management/Tourism/Related Field (Master’s preferred)
- • Professional registration in relevant body (advantageous)
- • 10+ years’ experience in events/tourism sector with 5+ years at senior management level
- • Valid Code B driver’s license
- • Clean criminal record and security clearance
- • Compliance with Safety at Sports/Recreational Events Act (2010)
