Job Description

Dis-Chem Pharmacies (CJ Finance) is looking for a Creditors Clerk to join our team in Delmas. The role involves reconciling supplier accounts and processing payments for Dis-Chem Supplier Accounts.

Key Responsibilities

• Reconcile vendor accounts on BEST to prepare for payments.
• Ensure reconciliations are finalized and approved by internal deadlines.
• Adhere to correct payment terms and ensure timely payments.
• Resolve outstanding invoices and claims during reconciliation.
• Follow up on queries raised on accounts.
• Maintain clear communication with suppliers and Dis-Chem departments.
• Send workflow query invoices to stores and follow up on responses.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 / Matric.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in accounts.

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant finance qualification.
• Experience with SAP, BEST, and Readsoft.
• Previous work in an accounts department.

Competencies

• Basic accounting knowledge.
• Good reading, writing, and speaking in English.
• Trustworthy, honest, and a team player.
• Deadline-oriented with strong time‑management skills.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Computer literate – Word and Excel.

Special Conditions

• Must work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• South African citizen.
• Must have a clear criminal and credit record (MIE).
