Position Details

Education Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree (NQF 7) required; Postgraduate qualification preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate national teacher development programs and monitor provincial implementation
• Develop strategies for improving school/educator performance and digital resource integration
• Lead ICT utilization for professional development and teaching support
• Conduct program impact assessments and manage departmental finances (PFMA compliance)
• Produce analytical reports for national education bodies and facilitate best practice sharing

Candidate Requirements

• Proven leadership experience in education sector management
• Expertise in performance management systems and teacher support strategies
• Strong understanding of ICT applications in education
• SAQA-recognized bachelor’s degree (postgraduate qualifications advantageous)
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel nationally
