Remuneration Package

  • R1,139,433.00 (Minimum)
  • R1,340,509.00 (Midpoint)
  • R1,541,584.00 (Maximum) – All-inclusive annual package

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 certificate
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Water Care), Environmental Science, or related field
  • Valid Code B driver’s license
  • 5+ years’ middle management experience
  • Clean criminal record
  • Compliance with municipal management competency requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic direction for water and sanitation services
  • Manage infrastructure development projects (WSIG, MIG, RBIG)
  • Develop and monitor departmental budgets
  • Oversee water resource quality management systems
  • Coordinate service delivery interventions
  • Provide technical guidance on water-related challenges
  • Ensure compliance with water service regulations
  • Facilitate skills development in water sector
