Salary Range: R880,228 – R1,075,833 per annum (Total Package)

Essential Requirements
- BSc Engineering/B.Tech Engineering or equivalent (NQF Level 7)
- 5 years’ management experience with 3-4 years in engineering management
- Active registration with engineering professional body
- Valid driver’s license
- Certificate of Competency (General Machinery Regulations)
Key Responsibilities
- Manage municipal infrastructure projects (roads, water, electricity, buildings)
- Oversee contractor performance and service delivery standards
- Lead departmental operations and workforce management
- Ensure compliance with building regulations and safety standards
- Prepare executive reports for municipal leadership
Preferred Competencies
- Expertise in local government policies and regulations
- Proven project management capabilities
- Strong technical planning and implementation skills
- Computer literacy with engineering software
