Key Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic management of supply chain operations (procurement, contracts, logistics, asset management)
  • Develop/update policies aligned with regulations to improve service delivery
  • Oversee bid processes, supplier database management, and BBBEE compliance
  • Manage asset lifecycle including acquisition, disposal, and tracking systems
  • Implement staff training programs for SCM best practices
  • Monitor departmental performance metrics and risk management strategies

Candidate Profile

  • Proven leadership in government supply chain environments
  • Expertise in public sector financial regulations and procurement laws
  • Strong analytical skills for complex decision-making
  • Experience in cross-departmental collaboration
