Position Reference: SACH01
Salary Range: R1,139,433 – R1,541,584 per annum (All-inclusive package)
Location: Potchefstroom, North West
Employment Type: Full-Time Permanent

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Sport Management, Public Administration, Heritage Studies or related field
  • 5+ years senior management experience in government sector
  • Valid Code B driver’s license
  • Clean criminal record
  • Compliance with municipal management regulations (GNR 21 of 2014)
  • Financial management certification (Government Notice R493)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop municipal sports and cultural strategies

  • Coordinate interdepartmental sports development projects
  • Implement national sports facility standards
  • Manage departmental budget and resources
  • Ensure legislative compliance across all operations
