Position Requirements
Essential Qualifications:
- NQF Level 7 qualification or higher in Economics/Public Finance/Revenue or related field
- SMS Pre-Entry Programme certification (required before appointment)
- 5+ years managerial experience in public finance/economic analysis
- Valid driver’s license (accommodations available for PWD candidates)
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement revenue enhancement strategies
- Monitor provincial revenue generation and collection systems
- Lead research on KZN Provincial Equitable Share framework
- Manage Division of Revenue Act (DORA) processes
- Oversee sub-directorate resources and operations
