Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (NQF7+) in Economics, Public Finance, Accounting or related field
- SMS Pre-Entry Certification (obtainable via National School of Government)
- 5+ years managerial experience in public finance/budget roles
- Valid driver’s license (accommodations available for PWD)
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze budget vs. expenditure trends and prepare reports
- Lead provincial budget preparation processes
- Develop Adjustment Estimates and Appropriation Bills
- Ensure PFMA compliance in budget implementation
- Manage directorate resources and policy development
