Requirements

  • SMS Pre-Entry Certification (obtainable via National School of Government)
  • 5+ years managerial experience in public finance/budget roles
  • Valid driver’s license (accommodations available for PWD)

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze budget vs. expenditure trends and prepare reports
  • Lead provincial budget preparation processes
  • Develop Adjustment Estimates and Appropriation Bills
  • Ensure PFMA compliance in budget implementation
  • Manage directorate resources and policy development
