Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (NQF Level 7) in Medical Orthotics & Prosthetics (SAQA-recognized)
- Postgraduate Diploma in Occupational Health (advantageous)
- HPCSA registration mandatory
- 5+ years managerial experience in orthotics/prosthetics environment
Key Responsibilities
- Develop national policies for Prosthetic & Orthotic services under COIDA
- Design clinical protocols and treatment guidelines
- Oversee assistive device procurement and distribution
- Manage stakeholder relationships with medical institutions
- Lead department operations including budgets and staff
