Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree (NQF 07) in Financial Management, Accounting, Auditing or related field
• 5 years’ managerial experience in finance at SMS/MMS level
• In-depth knowledge of PFMA, Treasury regulations, and government financial systems
• Proven expertise in budget management, GAAP/GRAP standards, and supply chain processes

• Proficiency in government budget systems and controls

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement budget management policies
• Oversee financial compliance and internal controls
• Manage Medium Term Expenditure Framework processes
• Coordinate departmental budget allocations and monitoring
• Lead financial forecasting and cash flow management
• Prepare reports for Annual Financial Statements
• Manage directorate resources and team development
