Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (NQF 7) in Financial Management/Accounting/Business Administration
- Valid driver’s license
- Pre-Entry SMS Certification
- 5+ years senior management experience in financial operations
Core Responsibilities
- Lead financial planning and expenditure management aligned with PFMA regulations
- Develop/maintain financial systems for budget analysis and cost projections
- Oversee departmental budgets exceeding R1 billion (ZAR)
- Implement risk mitigation strategies and compliance controls
- Manage team performance and professional development
- Prepare high-level financial reports for executive decision-making
- Coordinate with provincial treasury on funding allocations
