Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (NQF 7) in Financial Management/Accounting/Business Administration
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Pre-Entry SMS Certification
  • 5+ years senior management experience in financial operations

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead financial planning and expenditure management aligned with PFMA regulations
  • Develop/maintain financial systems for budget analysis and cost projections
  • Oversee departmental budgets exceeding R1 billion (ZAR)
  • Implement risk mitigation strategies and compliance controls
  • Manage team performance and professional development
  • Prepare high-level financial reports for executive decision-making
  • Coordinate with provincial treasury on funding allocations
