Position: Director – Local Economic Development

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Developmental Studies/Economics (NQF Level 7)
  • 5+ years managerial experience at middle/senior level

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead municipal LED strategy development and implementation
  • Strengthen municipal economic development capabilities
  • Coordinate provincial partnerships for LED enhancement
  • Manage Small Towns Revitalization Program implementation
  • Oversee Community Work and Public Works Programs
  • Supervise resource allocation (financial, human, physical)
