Position: Director Infrastructure Planning (Roads)
About Us:

Basic Requirements:
- Grade 12 Certificate
- NQF Level 7 Qualification (3-year Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field)
- 5+ years experience in roads maintenance with 5 years at middle/senior management level
- Valid driver’s license
- Completion of Nyukela Public Service SMS Leadership Programme (online)
Preferred Skills:
- Expert knowledge of Public Service Act and PFMA regulations
- Strong project management capabilities
- Advanced communication and reporting skills
- Proven leadership in team development
- Technical proficiency in road infrastructure systems
- Financial management and problem-solving skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop provincial road infrastructure strategies
- Coordinate maintenance planning and budgeting
- Manage road reserve protection programs
- Oversee intergovernmental planning coordination
- Implement performance monitoring systems
- Ensure compliance with national road standards
