Position Details

Education Requirement: Bachelor’s Degree (NQF 8) in IT/Computer Science/Information Systems
Preferred Qualification: Master’s Degree (NQF 9)
Experience: 8+ years (5 years in ICT management)

Key Requirements
- Certifications: CBAP, PMP, PRINCE II or TOGAF 9 preferred
- Technical Expertise: Microsoft Dynamics, Open Source solutions
- Leadership experience in library systems and IT infrastructure
- Expertise in IT governance and enterprise architecture
- Strong understanding of PFMA regulations
Core Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 3-5 year ICT modernization strategy
- Lead cybersecurity initiatives and data protection protocols
- Manage R50M+ technology budgets and vendor relationships
- Oversee implementation of cloud migration projects
- Direct team of 15+ IT professionals
Success Factors
- Proven track record in digital transformation projects
- Experience with ERP system implementations
- Ability to align technology with business objectives
- Strong stakeholder engagement capabilities
