Position Details

Employment Type: Full Time

Education Requirement: Bachelor’s Degree (NQF Level 7)

Experience Needed: 5+ years in middle/senior management

Location: Bloemfontein, Free State

Field: Arts & Cultural Management

Requirements

• Degree in Heritage Studies/Cultural Anthropology or related field
• Valid driver’s license
• Nyukela Certificate for Senior Management
• Proven experience in public sector resource management
• Policy development and implementation expertise

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee heritage preservation and museum operations
• Develop language promotion strategies per Official Languages Act
• Create provincial heritage/museum regulations and guidelines
• Manage inter-departmental collaborations and stakeholder relations
• Coordinate asset management and financial reporting
• Lead team performance management and reporting
