Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting (NQF Level 7 equivalent)
  • 5+ years managerial experience in financial environments
  • Valid Code B driver’s license
  • Proven expertise in government financial regulations

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee departmental financial systems and compliance with Treasury regulations
  • Implement accounting policies aligned with Modified Cash Standards
  • Manage financial reporting including Annual Financial Statements
  • Develop risk assessment strategies and fraud prevention plans
  • Supervise accounting services and compliance inspections
