Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree/Advanced Diploma (NQF 7) in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Postgraduate qualification in Economic Sciences or Finance (advantageous)
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Develop financial strategies for job creation initiatives
- Ensure compliance with public finance regulations (PFMA)
- Oversee R300-700 million annual grant budget
Financial Management
- Manage budget processes including MTEF submissions
- Monitor operational expenditures (R56-80 million)
- Coordinate fund transfers and cost recovery processes
Procurement Oversight
- Lead tenders for goods/services procurement
- Manage service provider contracts and deliverables
Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare parliamentary and ministerial reports
- Address audit findings and implement corrective measures
