Position Details

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree/Advanced Diploma (NQF 7) in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Postgraduate qualification in Economic Sciences or Finance (advantageous)

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop financial strategies for job creation initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with public finance regulations (PFMA)
  • Oversee R300-700 million annual grant budget

Financial Management

  • Manage budget processes including MTEF submissions
  • Monitor operational expenditures (R56-80 million)
  • Coordinate fund transfers and cost recovery processes

Procurement Oversight

  • Lead tenders for goods/services procurement
  • Manage service provider contracts and deliverables

Reporting & Compliance

  • Prepare parliamentary and ministerial reports
  • Address audit findings and implement corrective measures
