Position Overview
Employment Type: Full-Time Permanent

Experience Level: Senior Management (7+ years experience)
Essential Qualifications
- Postgraduate Degree (NQF Level 8) in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- Registration with recognized engineering professional body
- Valid Code B Driver’s License
- Compliance with Senior Manager competency requirements (GG 37245/2014)
Professional Requirements
- 7+ years managerial experience (minimum 2 years at senior level)
- Expertise in infrastructure planning, project management, and budget control
- Proficiency in public sector operations and legislative frameworks
- Bilingual communication skills (two Western Cape official languages)
- Advanced computer literacy
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engineering master plans
- Oversee governance compliance and risk management
- Lead multidisciplinary technical teams
- Manage strategic infrastructure projects
- Coordinate interdepartmental service delivery initiatives
