Position Overview:
Lead strategic implementation of community development initiatives for Gauteng’s parliament, overseeing program operations and stakeholder coordination.
Key Requirements:
- ✅ Matric Certificate plus Bachelor’s Degree (NQF Level 7) in Social Sciences/Development Studies or related field
- ✅ 5+ years management experience at middle/senior level in Public Service
- ✅ Certified SMS Pre-entry Programme completion (National School of Governance)
Core Responsibilities:
- • Develop provincial implementation plans for Community Development Worker Programme (CDWP)
- • Coordinate provincial/district forums between national departments and local stakeholders
- • Manage recruitment, resource allocation, and budget oversight for CDWP
- • Establish monitoring systems and risk management protocols
- • Facilitate partnerships between municipalities and government agencies
- • Align community programs with public participation initiatives and local economic development
- • Oversee workforce management and operational reporting
