Position Overview:

Lead strategic implementation of community development initiatives for Gauteng’s parliament, overseeing program operations and stakeholder coordination.

Key Requirements:

  • ✅ Matric Certificate plus Bachelor’s Degree (NQF Level 7) in Social Sciences/Development Studies or related field
  • ✅ 5+ years management experience at middle/senior level in Public Service
  • ✅ Certified SMS Pre-entry Programme completion (National School of Governance)

Core Responsibilities:

  • • Develop provincial implementation plans for Community Development Worker Programme (CDWP)
  • • Coordinate provincial/district forums between national departments and local stakeholders
  • • Manage recruitment, resource allocation, and budget oversight for CDWP
  • • Establish monitoring systems and risk management protocols
  • • Facilitate partnerships between municipalities and government agencies
  • • Align community programs with public participation initiatives and local economic development
  • • Oversee workforce management and operational reporting
