Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Management Sciences, Law or equivalent (Master’s advantageous)
- 5+ years middle management experience
- Must meet municipal competency requirements (SAQA ID 48965)
- Valid Code B driver’s license
- Expertise in corporate services, HR management, disaster response, and IT systems
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop departmental strategies aligned with municipal development plans
- Manage budget planning and resource allocation
- Oversee HR compliance and employee relations
- Lead disaster/environmental management programs
- Maintain facility security and IT infrastructure
- Implement governance policies and reporting systems
Professional Development:
Non-compliant candidates must complete CPMD/MFMP certification within 18 months of appointment.
