Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree (NQF Level 7) in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
- ECSASA Professional Registration (Mandatory)
- 5+ Years Management Experience at Middle/Senior Level
- Valid Driver’s License
- Pre-Entry SMS Certification
Key Responsibilities:
Operations & Compliance Management
- Develop annual operational plans and budget oversight
- Implement maintenance management systems across district hubs
- Ensure compliance with OHS Act, SANS regulations, and healthcare standards
Technical Leadership
- Oversee maintenance programs for machinery and buildings
- Manage technical inspections and condition assessments
- Coordinate infrastructure upgrades and new installations
Team & Resource Management
- Lead multidisciplinary technical teams
- Implement staff training and skills development programs
- Manage supplier contracts and service provider performance
Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with municipal partners and healthcare facilities
- Maintain client service standards and response protocols
- Address user feedback and operational concerns
