Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (NQF Level 7) in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
  • ECSASA Professional Registration (Mandatory)
  • 5+ Years Management Experience at Middle/Senior Level
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Pre-Entry SMS Certification

Key Responsibilities:

Operations & Compliance Management

  • Develop annual operational plans and budget oversight
  • Implement maintenance management systems across district hubs
  • Ensure compliance with OHS Act, SANS regulations, and healthcare standards

Technical Leadership

  • Oversee maintenance programs for machinery and buildings
  • Manage technical inspections and condition assessments
  • Coordinate infrastructure upgrades and new installations

Team & Resource Management

  • Lead multidisciplinary technical teams
  • Implement staff training and skills development programs
  • Manage supplier contracts and service provider performance

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Collaborate with municipal partners and healthcare facilities
  • Maintain client service standards and response protocols
  • Address user feedback and operational concerns
