About the Organization
The Department of Justice and Constitutional Development serves as South Africa’s justice administration body. We provide operational support to the judiciary system, oversee national prosecution services, and deliver legal guidance to government entities.
Position Overview
Location: Bloemfontein, Free State
Experience: 8+ years legal practice
Qualification: LLB Degree or equivalent 4-year legal qualification
Core Requirements
- Expert knowledge of relevant legislation including:
- Administration of Estates Act
- Mental Health Act
- Insolvency Act
- Companies/Close Corporations Acts
- Proven experience in Masters Office operations including:
- Deceased Estate Administration
- Guardian’s Fund Management
- Trust Property Control
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee legal operations at Master of High Court Office
- Monitor compliance with strategic objectives
- Manage service delivery and resource allocation
- Prepare legal documentation and resolutions
- Mediate disputes and recommend solutions
