Key Requirements
- Valid driver’s license (accommodations apply for PWD applicants)
- Expertise in Road Traffic Act 93/1996, Land Transport Act 5/2009, and Criminal Procedure Act
- Proven leadership in traffic management systems and regulatory compliance
Core Responsibilities
- Oversee road traffic law enforcement and licensing operations
- Manage transport safety programs and incident response systems
- Lead resource allocation for traffic operations and inspections
- Coordinate interdepartmental safety initiatives and public outreach
- Supervise team performance and budget management
