Position: Deputy Director – Recruitment and Appointments

• Education Requirement: Bachelor’s Degree (NQF 6/7) in HR Management
• Required Certification: PERSAL Certificate
• Experience: 5 years (3 years at ASD level)
• Location: Gauteng Province
• Valid Driver’s License Required
Core Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment Management
– Oversee full-cycle recruitment processes
– Coordinate job advertising and vendor relationships
– Facilitate interview processes for senior positions
– Manage appointment finalization and onboarding
2. Strategic Leadership
– Develop recruitment policies and EE targets
– Monitor service level agreements with providers
– Produce performance reports and analytics
– Supervise graduate recruitment programs
3. Team Leadership
– Manage staff performance and development
– Coordinate training initiatives
– Conduct regular team reviews
– Allocate resources and workflow

› Formal HR qualification with PERSAL certification
› Proven public sector HR experience
› Comprehensive knowledge of recruitment regulations
› Strong leadership and analytical skills
