Position Details

  • Employment Type: Full Time
  • Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree/Higher National Certificate in Security Management/Social Sciences
  • Experience Needed: 5 years (including 3 years at middle management level)
  • Location: Pretoria, Gauteng
  • License Requirement: Valid driver’s license
  • Certification: State Security Agency (SSA) Security Manager’s Course

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement security policies for all departmental facilities
  • Conduct risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies
  • Design security training programs for staff
  • Manage physical security operations and asset protection
  • Coordinate with government agencies on security matters
  • Supervise team performance and development
  • Implement advanced security technologies and procedures

Candidate Requirements

  • Proven experience in security strategy development
  • Knowledge of MPSS and MISS frameworks
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to analyze security threats and implement solutions
  • Excellent communication and reporting capabilities
