Position Details

- Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree/Higher National Certificate in Security Management/Social Sciences
- Experience Needed: 5 years (including 3 years at middle management level)
- Location: Pretoria, Gauteng
- License Requirement: Valid driver’s license
- Certification: State Security Agency (SSA) Security Manager’s Course
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement security policies for all departmental facilities
- Conduct risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies
- Design security training programs for staff
- Manage physical security operations and asset protection
- Coordinate with government agencies on security matters
- Supervise team performance and development
- Implement advanced security technologies and procedures
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience in security strategy development
- Knowledge of MPSS and MISS frameworks
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Ability to analyze security threats and implement solutions
- Excellent communication and reporting capabilities
