Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 Certificate
• National Diploma (NQF 6) or Bachelor’s Degree (NQF 7) in Commerce, Supply Chain Management, Economics, or Legal studies
• Proven experience in public sector supply chain management environments
• Strong understanding of SCM governance, monitoring, and compliance processes
• Knowledge of government procurement policies and implementation frameworks

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Policy Development

• Contribute to SCM strategy formulation and implementation plans
• Develop compliance policies aligned with national frameworks
• Maintain Restricted Suppliers List and case databases

Stakeholder Management

• Facilitate intergovernmental collaboration on SCM compliance
• Conduct awareness programs on procurement regulations

Governance Oversight

• Implement monitoring frameworks for policy compliance
• Develop performance assessment models and reporting systems
• Design dispute resolution mechanisms for procurement challenges

Performance Monitoring

• Analyze and report on government agency compliance
• Evaluate effectiveness of SCM governance frameworks

Knowledge Management

• Research international best practices in procurement governance
• Maintain updated information repositories for SCM compliance
