Required Qualifications

  • Matric/Grade 12 Certificate
  • Metro Police Diploma
  • Bachelor’s Degree/B-Tech in Policing (NQF Level 7)
  • Valid Code B Driver’s License
  • Clean Criminal Record
  • Firearm Competency Certification

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee JMPD operations including traffic enforcement and by-law compliance
  • Develop proactive safety strategies for urban security challenges
  • Manage law enforcement systems and operations optimization
  • Coordinate municipal traffic management and road safety programs
  • Lead teams in delivering community-focused security services
  • Monitor budget allocation and operational expenditure
  • Ensure compliance with legal standards and operational protocols
