Project Context

Lead the implementation of a $40.1 million climate resilience initiative (2025-2033) focused on Ecosystem-based Disaster Risk Reduction (Eco-DRR) to protect vulnerable communities from floods, droughts, and wildfires.

Core Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of the Eco-DRR project lifecycle
  • Oversee project finances, assets, and team leadership
  • Coordinate monitoring, evaluation, and reporting systems
  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement and partnerships
  • Drive skills development and operational improvements

Required Competencies

  • Advanced project management certification preferred
  • Proven experience managing donor-funded initiatives
  • Strong financial management and reporting skills
  • Expertise in climate adaptation policies and frameworks
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel
