Position Details

Required Qualifications

• NQF Level 6/7 qualification in Social Sciences, Development Studies, or Information Management
• Valid driver’s license
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience (including 3 years at ASD level or equivalent)

Key Responsibilities

Policy Development & Implementation

• Lead creation and review of sustainable policies through research and stakeholder engagement
• Coordinate policy alignment with national/provincial frameworks and international best practices
• Manage policy committee secretariat services and stakeholder databases

Team Leadership

• Supervise staff performance management and skills development
• Coordinate work allocation and quality assurance processes
• Facilitate interdepartmental collaboration and knowledge transfer

Strategic Operations

• Organize policy workshops and awareness programs
• Monitor policy implementation and compliance
• Prepare technical reports and briefing documents for leadership
