Position Overview
Job Type: Full Time
Qualification: Matric with NQF7/Bachelor’s in Public Administration, Office Management, or related field
Experience: 3-5 years in public sector administration
Location: Gauteng
Key Requirements
- Proven experience in coordinating executive-level administrative functions
- Strong understanding of public sector governance structures and processes
- Excellent organizational and document management skills
- Ability to manage staff performance and development
- Proficiency in stakeholder engagement and meeting coordination
Core Responsibilities
Executive Support & Coordination
- Manage cabinet submissions and track Executive Council decisions
- Coordinate high-level meetings including logistics and minute-taking
- Prepare briefing documents and reports for the HOD
Office Management
- Implement efficient document management systems
- Oversee quality control of submissions to the HOD
- Manage budgets and resource allocation for the office
Staff Supervision
- Lead recruitment and performance management processes
- Coordinate training programs and staff development initiatives
- Manage leave schedules and team workflows
Stakeholder Engagement
- Facilitate communication between departments and external partners
- Monitor implementation of intergovernmental resolutions
- Prepare responses to stakeholder inquiries on behalf of the HOD
