Position: Deputy Director of Public Prosecutions

Job Type: Full Time

Required Qualification: Bachelor of Laws (LLB)

Experience Required: Minimum 10 years post-qualification

Location: Limpopo Province

Field: Legal Practice & Strategic Management

Key Requirements:

  • LLB degree or equivalent legal qualification
  • 10+ years experience in civil/criminal litigation
  • Proven track record in strategic and operational management
  • Admission as Attorney/Advocate (advantageous)
  • Demonstrated professional accountability and credibility

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight
  • Manage complex/high-profile legal cases at superior courts
  • Develop prosecution strategies and review legal documents
  • Lead criminal investigations and prosecutorial processes
  • Supervise legal teams and stakeholder collaborations
  • Oversee resource allocation and performance management
  • Handle public representations and justice system relations
