Position: Deputy Director: Mechanical (Reference: DOT 359/2025)

Employment Type: Full Time
Location: KwaZulu-Natal
Experience Required: 3+ years managerial experience
Field: Engineering/Technical

Minimum Requirements

• Senior Certificate/National Certificate (NQF Level 4)
• Bachelor’s Degree/National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (NQF Level 6+)
• 3 years junior management experience in earthmoving equipment maintenance
• Valid driver’s license (Code C1 minimum)

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee plant/vehicle maintenance programs
• Develop business plans and manage budgets
• Lead human resource operations in compliance with policies
• Ensure OHSA and Environmental Act compliance
• Maintain stakeholder relationships
