Position Details

Employment Type: Full-Time

Education Requirement: Bachelor’s Degree (NQF Level 7) or equivalent

Experience Needed: 7-9 years overall, including 4 years at middle management level

Location: Johannesburg, Gauteng

Department: Logistics Management

Core Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement credit management strategies
  • Manage dunning processes and financial controls
  • Oversee logistics operations and management information systems
  • Optimize resource allocation for cost-effective operations
  • Produce accurate performance reports and analyses
  • Maintain stakeholder relationships across municipal departments
  • Lead team performance management and development
  • Control financial management of division assets and budgets

Essential Qualifications

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Logistics/Supply Chain/Finance
  • Proven leadership experience in municipal operations
  • Strong understanding of public sector financial regulations
  • Excellent strategic planning and analytical skills
