Position:
Deputy Director: Internal Audit (Ref: DOTP 58/2025)

Employment Type: Full Time
Experience: 3+ years supervisory/management experience
Salary: R896,436 per annum (All-inclusive package)

Core Purpose:

Lead internal audits to evaluate governance, risk management, and control systems in compliance with audit standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Auditing
  • 3 years supervisory experience in internal audit
  • Valid driver’s license (Code B) – Exceptions for candidates with disabilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement annual audit plans
  • Conduct end-to-end audit engagements (planning to reporting)
  • Monitor service standards compliance
  • Present reports to Audit Committee and executive management
  • Maintain quality assurance in audit processes

Essential Competencies:

  • Expertise in international audit standards
  • Strong analytical and project management skills
  • Proficiency in risk management principles
  • Advanced communication and reporting abilities
  • MS Office competency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
