Position:
Deputy Director: Internal Audit (Ref: DOTP 58/2025)
Employment Type: Full Time
Experience: 3+ years supervisory/management experience
Salary: R896,436 per annum (All-inclusive package)
Core Purpose:
Lead internal audits to evaluate governance, risk management, and control systems in compliance with audit standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Auditing
- 3 years supervisory experience in internal audit
- Valid driver’s license (Code B) – Exceptions for candidates with disabilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement annual audit plans
- Conduct end-to-end audit engagements (planning to reporting)
- Monitor service standards compliance
- Present reports to Audit Committee and executive management
- Maintain quality assurance in audit processes
Essential Competencies:
- Expertise in international audit standards
- Strong analytical and project management skills
- Proficiency in risk management principles
- Advanced communication and reporting abilities
- MS Office competency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
