Position Details

- Experience: 10 years (3 years at junior management level)

Key Requirements
- SAQA-recognized NQF Level 7 qualification in Accounting/Auditing
- Proven experience in internal audit functions
- Knowledge of International Professional Practices Framework (IIA)
- Certified Internal Auditor certification preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and enhance departmental controls through comprehensive audits
- Prepare detailed audit reports for executive leadership and audit committees
- Develop/update audit methodologies and quality assurance programs
- Create strategic 3-year audit plans aligned with organizational risks
- Manage internal audit team operations and performance
