Key Responsibilities:
- Lead oversight of Traditional Leadership Institutions and district satellite councils
- Manage administrative support to Kingship/Queenship structures and Traditional Councils
- Direct strategic operations for the Traditional Affairs Branch
- Supervise financial management of Traditional Councils
- Monitor compliance with regulations at initiation/circumcision schools
- Coordinate activities of Executive Committees and Provincial Houses
- Organize recognition ceremonies for traditional leaders
Essential Requirements:
- Matric certificate
- Bachelor’s degree (NQF Level 7) in Law, Public Administration, or related field
- Postgraduate qualification (NQF Level 8) preferred
- 8+ years senior management experience in relevant sector
- Valid driver’s license (excluding applicants with disabilities)
Special Note: Successful candidate must obtain SMS Pre-entry Certification (Nyukela Program) within specified timeframe post-appointment.
