Employment Type: Fixed-Term Contract
Education Requirement: Bachelor’s Degree (NQF Level 7) in Communication, Public Relations, or related field
Experience Needed: 7-9 years in relevant field (Public Administration experience advantageous)
Location: Johannesburg, Gauteng
Department: Human Resources/Media & Communications
License: Valid driver’s license required
Core Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive communication strategies for MMC Office initiatives
- Lead stakeholder engagement programs for diverse City communities
- Manage departmental resources and budget allocations
- Oversee governance, risk management, and performance monitoring
- Direct team operations and staff development
Key Requirements
- Proven track record in strategic communications planning
- Strong leadership capabilities in public sector environments
- Excellent community engagement and relationship-building skills
- Financial management and operational oversight experience
