Position Details
- Employment Type: Full-Time

- Experience: 5 years (3+ in management)
- Education: National Diploma in Civil/Mechanical Engineering (NQF 6)
Core Responsibilities
- Oversee consistent delivery of water/sanitation services across assigned depot zone
- Implement water conservation strategies and infrastructure maintenance programs
- Manage emergency response teams for pipe repairs and system failures
- Supervise meter installation/management and leakage control measures
- Lead team of technical staff with focus on safety and performance standards
- Coordinate community engagement for service improvement initiatives
- Monitor operational budgets and resource allocation
Candidate Requirements
- Valid EB driver’s license
- Proven experience in municipal water operations
- Strong understanding of OHS Act compliance
- Leadership skills with workforce management experience
- Problem-solving ability for infrastructure challenges
