Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Drive assigned trucks safely and conduct pre-inspection checks to ensure roadworthiness.
• Deliver goods accurately and on time while maintaining effective communication with customers and stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate records of daily activities, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery receipts.
• Report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs promptly and adhere to company policies and safety standards.
• Operate in compliance with all relevant regulations and maintain a clean, organized truck.
• Use appropriate safety equipment and contribute to a safe working environment.
• Attend meetings and training to support team goals and overall operations.

Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric) certificate or equivalent qualification.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar position within the FMCG retail industry.
• Valid Code 10 driver’s license with PDP.

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships.
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
